Crescendo Big Band 

 

 

Live music at its best !

Based in Gloucestershire, The Crescendo Big Band is a 16 piece band with a full line up of musicians  playing Saxophones, Trumpets, Trombones and Rhythm section. 

The band plays the best of Swing and Jazz from the past to the present, so alongside brand new arrangements specially written for the band to perform. the well known  ‘classic’  arrangements as played by Count Basie,  Duke Ellington, Glenn Miller etc. are in the band’s repertoire and included in the programme

The band is now entering its 29^th.Year. Few bands anywhere in Great Britain can match their admirable record of  a minimum of ten concerts a year for 24 consecutive years at the same venue.

About the Concerts at Gupshill Manor .

Concerts are in the function room. (long building next to the car park , separate from main hotel. )

Admission is £7. ~  pay on the door. (sorry, no concessions )

The concert starts at 8pm and ends 10:30pm. Interval 20mins ~  raffle drawn then.

(You can buy raffle tickets on the door as you enter.  GOOD PRIZES !. Proceeds support the band’s music fund. !)

The bar is open from 7pm and serves throughout the evening.

Seating is at tables.  If you want a particular table ~ come early !
